CAF Ranking of African Clubs 2024 | The Confederation of African Football (“CAF”) today announced important information related to the 2024/2025 interclub season, including the confirmed number of places allocated for each member association.

The 2024/2025 CAF Interclub season will begin with the Preliminary Round scheduled between August 16 and 18, 2024. The group stages are scheduled between October and December 2024. The knockout and final rounds of both competitions will take place between March and May 2025.

CAF has confirmed the 12 highest ranked member associations according to CAF standards that will be eligible to enter two clubs in the CAF TotalEnergies Champions League as well as the CAF Confederations Cup.

The 12 national associations listed are as follows: Algeria, Angola, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Nigeria, DR Congo, South Africa, Sudan, Tunisia and Tanzania.

CAF has today started the registration period for Member Associations to register their qualified Clubs in the CAF Competition Management System (CMS).
